Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!
My question is:
Since we are currently on vacation, it occurs to me, When traveling with small children, what are some of the tricks that you do, so that you and your other can find intimate time.
My Answer: We are currently plotting the balcony attatched to our room.

lol,
We went on a 2 week road trip 3 yrs ago. Luckily our kids were older and we ended up, by 5 days into the trip, getting a second hotel room. lol
ugh - just got back from vegas...where the little guy refused to sleep in his crib. not much alone time there - unless you're in a suite and then there's always the couch.
Some hotels have babysitting services :)
If we are going to be gone longer than one night we get more than one bedroom. Then if we need to get away we talk the kids into watching TV while we "watch" something in our room.
No tricks, we just resign to the fact it's not gonna happen.
occasionally I will just get both of the boys put to sleep way before hand. Most times though I totally don't have the energy for it during a roadtrip.
